Who we are
Encuentros Creativos is directed by Lauren Toker and supported by creatives across Mexico.
Lauren is originally from San Francisco, California and has lived in Mexico since 2014. She splits her time in between residences in Mexico City, Nayarit and Oaxaca. Lauren comes from a long lineage of artists and has always had an eye for design. In California, she was an interior, prop and fashion stylist. In 2012, Lauren opened a boutique event design company, Nicoella Event Design.
In 2014, Lauren brought Nicoella Event Design to Mexico. Over the past decade, Nicoella has produced events, parties and weddings for hundreds of international creatives across Mexico. In this work, Lauren partnered with diverse designers and artisans across the country. She became extremely versed with the best people to source materials from and the most incredible experiences across Mexico. Encuentros Creativos was born with a mission to share this decade of knowledge and connection to the creative community of Mexico with others. Lauren and her team are fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

We work with an array of international creative clients - corporate, non-profit and small business owners. We help many of our clients source quality materials and products in Mexico.
